Privacy Policy

Tibeb Menu is a small, independently-run service. This policy is written in plain language on purpose — it explains what data we collect, why, and who it’s shared with, without legal padding.
What we collect
- Account & restaurant info — your email, restaurant name, description, address, phone, and logo.
- Menu content — items, prices, categories, and photos you upload.
- Customer reviews — ratings and comments left anonymously by people viewing your public menu.
- Loyalty records — customer phone numbers and stamp counts, entered by your staff.
- Payment verification records— when you verify a customer’s (or your own) payment, we store the transaction reference, verified amount, and payer name returned by the verification check.
- Basic usage data — page views on your public menu (to show you view counts), and general analytics on how the site is used.
How we use it
Strictly to run the service: showing your menu publicly, sending orders to your WhatsApp/Telegram, tracking loyalty, verifying payments, and showing you your own dashboard analytics. We do not sell your data to anyone, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
- Supabase — hosts our database and handles login/authentication.
- Our payment verification service— when you verify a payment, the reference number is sent to a verification backend that checks it against the relevant bank or mobile-money provider’s own public receipt-lookup page.
- Vercel Analytics — anonymous, aggregate traffic analytics.
We don’t share your data with anyone else, and we don’t sell it.
Security
Passwords are handled entirely by Supabase Auth — we never see or store your raw password. Your data is scoped so only you can read or edit your own restaurant’s data (enforced at the database level, not just in the app).

Want your data exported or deleted? Email us (below) and we’ll take care of it — no formal process required.

If this policy changes in any meaningful way, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
