Terms of Service

Tibeb Menu is a small, independently-run service — these terms are written plainly on purpose. By creating an account, you agree to the points below.

The service

Tibeb Menu gives your restaurant or cafe a digital menu with a QR code, order links to WhatsApp/Telegram, customer loyalty tracking, and a tool to verify customer payments against the relevant bank or mobile-money provider.

Your account

One account per restaurant. You’re responsible for keeping your login secure and for the accuracy of the menu content, prices, and contact details you publish.

Free & Pro plans

Free plan accounts get a limited number of payment verifications per day. Pro is a monthly subscription — renewal is manual, not automatic: there is no stored card and no auto-charge. Each month, you submit a new payment reference to extend your subscription. If you don’t renew, your account simply returns to the Free plan’s limits when the current period ends — nothing is charged without you actively completing a payment. Pricing may change; we’ll reflect any change on the Billing page before it applies to you.

Payment verification — important

Our verification tool checks a transaction reference against the relevant bank’s or telecom’s own public receipt-lookup page. We are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any bank or telecom provider, and verification depends on those providers’ own systems being reachable — it can occasionally fail, time out, or be temporarily unavailable for reasons outside our control. Treat a “Verified” result as a strong signal, not an absolute guarantee, and use your own judgment for high-value transactions.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Tibeb Menu to publish false information, commit fraud, or attempt to verify payments that aren’t genuinely yours to check. We can suspend accounts that abuse the service or its payment verification tool.

Your content

You own the menu content and photos you upload. You’re responsible for having the rights to anything you publish.

Limitation of liability

Tibeb Menu is provided as-is. We do our best to keep the service accurate and available, but we’re not liable for losses arising from service downtime, a missed or incorrect payment verification, or third-party services (banks, telecoms, hosting providers) being unavailable.

Ending your account

You can stop using Tibeb Menu at any time. Email us to request full account and data deletion.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ethiopia.

Changes

If these terms change meaningfully, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
